Question:

What does the Bible say about possible war with Iran vs. Israel?

Does the Bible prophecy war between Israel and Iran at this point on the human/global time line? If so, does it say who will initiate it? Does it say who will defend Israel, and who will join Iran? What will the outcome be?

If you can answer these questions, and if you have more details to add that I have not specifically asked, I'd like your input.

  1. NOTHING

The wars in the Bible took place many years ago!!!

It is not a thing called "History"!!!

  2. "The Kings of the West shall meet the Kings of the East in the valley of Armageddon, and the gound shall be soaked with blood until it can't hold no more, it shall run the depth of a horses breast...."

My husbands knows the bible and this is a jist i think of what he remembers it says but is it Iran and Israel, doubtful.

People thought it would be England and America, then America and Iran, so who knows, Only God does.

  3. Thou shall not covet thy neighbors wife in vain. Go yee forth to Iran and kick butt. John:6:23

  4. In reference to Barbra's answer.

Israel and Iran were countries in Biblical times.  Today's Iran is basically the same country Persia was in the Bible.  In fact Iran was called Persia as recently as WW1.  Israel was the ancient state of Israel and Of Judah after the kingdom split.

It is very significant that there is again a State of Israel after an absence of nearly 1800 years.

  5. NOTHING.

  6. Absolutely nothing. The conflicts mentioned in the Bible relates to the Babilonian and Assyrian invasions around the year 500 B.C. to the then "Kingdom of Israel", then Canaan or Judea.

  7. what a ridiculous question. were Iran and Israel even countries when the  bible was written?

for centuries people have tried to prophetise what is written in the bible, mostly to suit people owns needs.

Maybe people should start looking at quotes like " the poor will inherit the earth" rather than  " a rich man can enter the kingdom of heaven through the eye of a needle"

but I jest. Whatever you want to find can be found in the bible.

  8. Bible says nothing about a possible war with Iran vs Israel.

I read the whole thing once. No prophecies with a timeline whatsover. Really.
