What does the Chinese word "fei" mean in English?

All the translators i have tried have given out different answers.

"fly" or "fly high" has come up on a number of occasions...

What character are you asking about? It really depends on that. "Fei" can mean fly or flying in Chinese, but unless you have the written character it could mean a number of things.

robber

(a sentence connector, no actual meaning)

etc.....
