Ok well i just got a whole bunch a pokemon cards from the cousin and i was just wondering what the double star symbol or the flower symbol, or the 2 with a pokeball symbol stands for??? The symbol is located right underneath the picture of the pokemon and to the right.

A website or a list of what these symbols and other pokemon symbols stand for would be very helpful.

Thanks,

  1. 2 with pokeball= second edition

flower and double star= symbols representing the packs they came from

  2. I think is the type or something like that. Dragon type?

  3. A Poké Ball in a 2 is the symbol for the Base Set 2 expansion.  A flower is probably the Jungle Symbol.  These were both early expansions of Pokémon Cards.  I can't find a list, but I know one exists.  Check Pokebeach.com for a full list of Card Sets and scans.
