  1. Its basically a way for Best Buy to rip you off a second time.

  2. usually, about 8 ounces of plankton, or similar algie-like substance. You can replace with sea monkies or brine if currently out of planton.  Squids LOVE plankton.

  3. Well that depends upon what the problem is an how long it takes them for fix it.

The solution is to call them and ask.

  4. it depends what job. here is the url so u can find wut u wanna do: http://www.geeksquad.com/

  5. The geek squad is Best Buy's people that they send out to you to fix your computers, etc. I don't know how qualified they really are though. I've never checked on them before but I believe my brother in law's business charges around $85 an hour to fix computers. Just to give you an idea anyway, and they're really good at what they do(and trusting, since I have trouble trusting anyone with my personal info on the computer).

  6. too much.  They  rape the customer abnd push c**p thay dont need.  Then they recomed software such as spysweeper that does a junk job so you will have to bring in the machine again...

They are an unthical orginisation.  and I quit because they give IT a bad image.

  7. idk

  8. Diagnostic is $159.  That money normally goes towards the cost of repairs.  So, for example, if your computer is rocked with hundreds of viruses, the cost of repair is normally $229.  So you would pay for the diagnostic at the Geek Squad for 159, then pay the remaining $70 to the double agent IF you decide to repair it.  If you think that's a lot, price compare with some other in home services.  You'll see it's pretty competitive.

  9. If you read some of the answers posted here by people claiming to be members of the Geek Squad, you'll realize that you know more about computers than a lot of them.  (It only took them a week to figure out that one of my laptops had a bad DVD drive - when that was the original complaint.  Reading the ticket might have sped things up a bit - and that takes absolutely no technical knowledge, just an IQ slightly higher than the temperature in northern Alaska in winter.)

  10. Geek Squad

  11. what is your problem? dont hire them they are ridiculos with prices you can find everything you need online to fix your problem.
