What does the IQ mean?

this might sound a little stupid coming from me but

i recently found out that i have an IQ of 141 but what does this mean and is it an good? and does anyone else famous have dis IQ or is it average an d very common?

please enlighten me i don't know it properly.

  1. If you took an IQ test online, it means nothing.

    And you obviously were also told what this score means, but are fishing for compliments.  Your apparent conceit is very obvious in this statement "this might sound a little stupid coming from me but".

    However, I must say from your grammar, spelling and lack of correct punctuation, you must have taken an IQ test geared for pre-schoolers.


  2. IQ stands for intelligence quotient. If you took the Stanford-Binet IQ test, a 100 for each age group would be average. If you took the IQ test for your specific age group, you would therefore be above average. This goes both ways though: if you took one for the age bracket below you, it just shows you know more than whatever age that test was for.

    It could be both good and bad.
