  1. Sorry, but your post is completely confusing.

You mention you cannot get along with your mom??  And are you wondering if this has to do with your father being Scottish, and she is from Irish?

I don't know how to put this without insult (and none is meant) but ancestry has NOTHING to do with people having arguments or disputes.  Or what Scottish may or may not believe.

I hope you can work out things with your mom. Genealogy is fun, but it has to do with dead people.

  2. mostly they are catholic (a denomination of christianity).

  3. I don't understand the question and I am not even sure that this is in English.

  4. The Scottish believe in good ale and a bratwurst.

    Cheers.

  5. Many believe it is reaonable - even honorable - to add a bit of their personal essence to the whiskey just before bottling, if they know the batch is going to England. Sometimes they drink a pint of ale 30 minutes beforehand, to make sure they will have enough personal essence to go around.

Most of them believe that wearing a skirt makes man s**y; it certainly make him quicker, if a highland lass is in the mood. It is a lot faster to lift a kilt than it is to unbutton a pair of pants.

Some think holding a cat to their chest and biting on its tail makes music.

Many of them believe that the further they are from the English the better their life will be, which is why there are rivers and mountains named "McKenzie" on every continent in the world.

  6. This American of Scottish descent believes in agreement between subject and verb:  You question should read, "What do the Scottish believe?"  To check for subject/verb agreement, turn the question into a statement.  Admitedly, the sentence "The Scottish does believe what" sounds a wee bit strange.

Also, I haven't the faintest idea what you mean by "calvery-clononal anstery."  Use spell check.

For what it's worth:  The Scots pioneered the teaching of composition and rhetoric.

  7. I believe I don't have a clue what you are talking about (and I am Scottish).  Are you trying to say you have more of an affinity with your Dad & he has some sort of Scottish ancestry.

Are you saying you identify with that?

  8. I'm Scotch Irish and I still don't know what you are talking about.

  9. i don't know what your askin??
