What does the Tekno Robot Dog do?

I just bought one for my daughter's birthday. I've read on the Amazon and Toys 'R' Us sites that you can teach it things and it gets smarter over time, but I can't find any instructions on how to do that. Right now, it just whines and barks. Does it do these other things? If so, how do I train it to do some of them?

i got one of them years ago for xmas, there a waste of time, i could never make it do anything, all it did was make sound. i personaly i think all that stuff about it getting smarter over time is a lie, this probely doesnt help much and im sorry about that but there just a con
