  1. Never took it.  But, from the little I know about law, and taking other "certification" exams, it would be very comprehensive test.

    That means it would cover history of law, and different types of law, like questions on real estate law, corporate law, state laws, constitutional law, ect.

    They are administered by the states, so each state may be somewhat different, but usually they HAVE essay exams, and also muliple choice questions.

    A performance test is also usually required.
