The liability coverage can't apply because you can't be liable to or sue yourself.

The medical payments coverage does not apply to the policyholder or household members.

  3. If you want health or accident insurance, buy health or accident insurance. Your homeowners wasn't designed for this. If it was, it wouldn't be so cheap.

  5. It does not.

The standard homeowners policy specifically excludes injury to residents of the household.

  6. Short answer - YOU cannot be LIABLE to YOURSELF.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

  7. Coverages A, B, C & D are to make you whole again should you have a property loss situation and coverage E - Liability & Medical are to protect you from others getting injured - not yourself.
