  1. A black diamond represents nothing more than about the worst investment you can make. Black diamonds are impure diamonds that used to be thrown into the "industrial use" pile at the mine. Their use is in jewellery is nothing but a fashion fad that will, as all fads do, die away soon and a lot of people will be left with ugly stones that no one will buy from them. I refuse to supply my clients with them even if they ask as I offer a guarantee to buy back any stone I sell at the price the client paid and if I sell black diamonds I know I will be getting a lot of rubbish back in a year or two's time.
