What does the celtic way mean

i keep seeing peoples answers mentioning the celtic way..what is it...

'The Celtic way' originated in the 60's.  At that time they played attacking football, as most Scottish teams did.  Can't see how that applies now, with a grand total of 3 strikers (that's including Goofy the Greek), on their books.

it's the traditional way that celtic play football i.e all out attack, ball on the deck, good passing, wingers, always looking to score more than the opposititon regardless of how many you concede. wouldnt say we play that way just now. under tommy burns was probably the most recent but unfortunately it doesnt always guarantee success.

just means with grace, flair and finesse, scoring more than you concede,  a cavalier attitude and playing to the final whistle !!! This was a stark contrast to the ultra defensive football from the gers with their infamous iron curtain !!! It's not just a recent thing !
