i would like to know what the common male canary looks like

  1. Canary's are normally bright yellow. The males have more definitive colours, and often look a bit bigger than the females.

    The difference between the male and female canary is the beak. On the top of the bill it will often display different colours, such as blue, brown and grey.

    But you also get different types such as the "red" canary. Here is another picture of a male canary with stunning colours

    The females look a bit different from the males. Here is a picture of one:

    As you can see, the female has more dull colors than the male and doesnt look as definitive.
