  1. I loathe shopping

  2. I don't like shopping and I am actually a woman.  (messed up my avatar).  I shop on-line and get it over with.  Men don't like standing around trying stuff on and probably don't have to.  An inseam of 36" is an inseam of 36".  They cut women's clothing so differently we have to try things on.  Also, women's clothing is cut to look like the hourglass figure and most of us don't look like an hourglass.

  3. fantasy

  4. This study is biased really. I actually know more men who love shopping than women.  I am a woman and abhor shopping.

  5. Shopping for me is so addictive it becomes a habit around every pay day rather than an experience. New clothes/shoes/accessories allows more choices to showcase ourselves. It also does wonders for self esteem and morale.

For gals who claim they don't like shopping ... every one likes new things. Maybe for some it is clothes and others it may be electronics or even groceries. New stuff makes us happy .. dunno why but it does. :D

  6. shooping

  7. it depends on what your shopping for, i personally love all of it! lol

  8. Women that love to shop do so because of the emotional connection they have for shopping. When they find the perfect shoes, or the perfect outfit that goes with the bag they have at home. They feel energized. Some women also love to shop for bargains and sales. Most women have a larger range of clothing styles that men will never have including cosmetics, sanitary napkins, toiletries, clothing styles, shoes, boots, purse, hand bags top, sweaters in every color and every style imaginable.

  9. Lol its so funny but i am like the lady above. I cant stand clothes shopping, i get very irritable and hate having to get dressed then undressed all the time, its so boring and time consuming, i would rather my sister buy me clothes for me which is what she does alot of the time, she is a shopoholic,i am far from it.

I have two children, a dog,a house to look after though and my sister has no responsibilities so she spends all money on looking nice.

  10. tired legs and cramped butts. all for accompanying mom and sis

  11. Men view shopping as just another task.

    "Get hammers

    Buy plywood

    try on shoes

    look at tires

    get fishing creel

    buy underpants"

    Very basic

women, on the other hand, are LOOKING for something: the right outfit, the perfect purse, the best shoes, so it becomes an adventure.

In it not a mountain peak to be scaled, but many caves of wonders to be explored

  12. If you're talking about looking for clothes or shoes, I don't consider that recreational. If I need new clothes -because I outgrew or stained old ones- I'll go to a couple stores, find some stuff in my size that I like, and get it. There are few things I hate more than shoe stores...

On the other hand, in music stores, game stores -video games and tabletop, i.e Magic- and used bookstores, I'm happy as a clam. My boyfriend is the same way.

  13. think caveman-hunter, specific kill.

    think cavewoman-gather, unspecific gathering

its just the way it is, plus woman are more social and view it as an adventure. at least thats what my ma says all the time.

go ahead i dare you to say somethin 'bout my mama! :)

  14. I hate shopping.

The only time I like it is when I am buying something for someone else.

  15. i personally hate shopping and usually get my sister to buy me clothes as she enjoys it more

  16. I can only speak from personal experience, but i enjoy wandering round the shops looking at things, and possibly finding something I like.  This drives my husband mad. "What are you looking for?" he says to me. "I don't know" I reply happily "but I'll know if I see it."

He just likes to go out knowing what he wants, go straight for it, buy it and come home.  He says men are buyers and women are shoppers.

  17. they get to make their men sit in uncomfortable chairs in stores they hate while holding their d**n bags while they try on clothes that fail to conceal their big butts. Of course we cant say that because then they will want to talk to us which is possibly worse. The final insult is that we men generally have to pick up the bill for these outfits that might get worn once.

The single chicks are just practicing for when they have trapped a man for their evil sport.

  18. It's fun and relaxing for me similar to the way working on a car, playing golf, or playing video games may be fun or relaxing to a male.  Shopping is also good for keeping  up with fashion, many women just like having nice new things.
