I'm afraid that's psuedo-science... there's been no research to back that claim.

a) There's been a long-standing folk belief that left-handed people tend to be more intuitive and artistic.

b) There is also real research that shows the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body and visa-versa.

c) Ergo people who are left-handed are assumed to have a more active right side of the brain, and this is associated with intution and artistry. (Whereas right-handed people would have a more active left half of the brain and have stronger logical skills.)

I think that I remember someone did a correlational study that "proved" it, but otherwise it's been put down to folk lore.
