Girls/Women who act out homosexually for the sole purpose of garnering attention and turning men on?

Is it degrading to women or empowering to women? Does it serve the g*y rights cause or does it marginalize the g*y rights cause... or not affect it at all?

How have videos like Girls Gone Wild which portray quite often young women engaging in homosexual activity for the purpose of titilizing MEN helped or hurt the cause of women's issues and g*y rights issues?

  1. It hurts both degrades women and portrays real lesbians in a negative light.

  2. It certainly helped g**s' image and rights because if it wasnt for occasional attractive lesbians mainstream g**s would be perceived as totally disgusting.

  3. Well as previously stated it does help lift the stereotype of the ugly bull d**e and allows people to see that attractive women can be deviants too!

Of course in the case of Girls Gone Wild they are always Bi so that still leaves most people to see the full on L*****n as a plaid wearing, hair growing man-hater!

Women are free to express themselves as they see fit and if small fringe groups like the g*y and lesbians have a problem with it they need only look at any g*y pride parade to see far worse. Women of all sexual orientation do things to effect the behavior of men, women have the power men are just targets.

  4. I find it odd that women are objectifying themselves when we've spent so many years trying to stop others from doing the same to us. I believe that s*x should stay in bed.

  5. I just read a really interesting article talking about this very topic (among others)...

  6. Everytime I hear people speak on g*y issues its usually straight politicians out for votes.

  7. It is totally the fad right now for women to make out with other women to get men's attention. Totally cliche....

  8. I think it is degrading to everybody because it trivializes sexual attraction, and puts girls in the position of being playthings rather than living human beings.

Things like Girls Gone Wild should be illegal, as they're exploiting drunk young females who don't quite understand what they're doing.  It is the same as filming girls getting raped while drugged, essentially.

It does not serve the g*y rights cause because it's not homosexual.  It is two straight girls demanding sexual attention.  It doesn't do anything to prevent discrimination in the workforce or at schools, and it hardly makes a stand for legalizing homosexual marriage in the colonies.
