  1. Well, the government implemented a HUGE gun ban shortly before the explosion of gun violence in the UK, kinda like the way gun violence in Washington D.C. exploded after that city passed an almost-total gun ban.  Now, do you think banning knives is going to A) stop the violence or B) cause an explosion of knife violence?

    It may be too late to put the genie back in the bottle, as they say.  But criminalising otherwise honest, law-abiding behaviour [peaceful and lawful possesion of firearms for home and self-defence] doesn't seem to have worked so far.


  2. The government can't stop crime, it only reacts to crime and punishes people they catch.  

  3. Just be glad the crime rates over there are half of what they are in the US.
