  4. It comes from the Bible. It means when a person is acting arrogant or invincible they're going to get careless and end up looking real stupid when they s***w up.

    Example: Guy riding his skateboard is acting like he's God's gift to the sport and says, Hey check this out. Of course you know what happens. His arrogance gets the best of him and he takes a dive.
