  1. At 14, it is illegal for you to drive.  So you cannot get insurance at all.

When you are legal, it would be about $4K to $6K per year (for basic liability).  But that depends on exactly where you live.

Like you said, you will probably bang it up - so they are not in the business of losing money.

    good luck...

  2. A 14 year old old can't drive, so you can't get insurance.

  3. they wont seel it to you. u hav to be older....like 16

  4. I have to assume you're talking about a late-model Mustang GT. As much as I like Mustangs, I have to say that 1983 and newer Mustang GTs are S****y first cars. They are quite powerful, and a lot of those get modified for more power--and the insurance companies know this. Your Mom is right about the insurance--you need something that will be less expensive to insure.

  5. is it even legal for you to drive at 14. Insurance is extremely expensive for young males, they pay the most for insurance compared to any other group.

  6. Well isn't the driving age to get your license in Ohio still 16? Well when you do turn 16, yes Mustang insurance will cost you a pretty penny. Why? cause a lot of kids had them and messed them up, used them for races, and ended up in the hospital or no longer alive. Sorry to say but the fact many kids have done that in the past with a Mustang will keep insurance very high on it. When i was 16 a Honda cost $2600 a year in insurance costs (about $220 a month) To compare that, my parents were paying about $130 before that for full coverage on two cars. So after i joined on at 16 the payment was about $450 a month. That's a lot of money. For your mustang add another 50-100 a month. Your mom is right though, a Mustang is a lot on insurance.

Btw i had good student discount, garaged discount, alarm/lojack discount, and home owners combo discount on my insurance, and it was still $2600 a year.

  7. well, one you will notbe able to get insurance in most states for a fourteen year old. Two, when you get you license your insurance for a sports can be upto $500 dollars or more a month maybe less if you are safe driver, but it will be on the pricey side.

  8. I would like to recommend you possess as much information as you can before taking action, here is a good place for that purpose.http://car-insurance.online-helpers.info...

  9. You wont be able to title it until you're 18 in most states.  Insurance wont write your risk until you're 16 and have a license and only at your parents discretion.  More than likely mom or dad will have to title it and add you to their policy when you're 16.  If you are looking for an average 16 year old male with a mustang, you're probably looking at 250-500 a month for just basic liability.  more if its full coverage.  Theres a reason why males pay more for the insurance at a younger age, they statistically get into more accidents and get more tickets.  If you really want a mustang, save up for it and when you're 16 and you have parental permission, make sure you have it insured.
