  1. Hopefully gives them some depth

  2. It does a heck of a lot for us. Jason Smith has been captain of all the teams he's played for for the past six years, and is an awesome defencemen.

  3. Jason Smith brings a lot to the table.  He is a solid veteran bring a lot of leadership into the dressing room.  He's a fairly solid defenseman with a lot of grit. Excellent excellent shot blocker most notably witnessed during the Edmonton Oilers cup run a few years back.  Though he won't pile a lot a points up as he's not known for his shooting and puckmoving ability he will do well at keeping the puck out of his own net.  Not too mention he'll be quick to drop the gloves with anyone who may get out of line.  Sens fans will very much appreciate what he brings to the table.

  4. It improves it, of course!  Excellent signing!!!!!!

Put Mezaros on a contract, and everything looks pretty good on the back end...

Call me an optimist, but I like the looks of the Sens this year!

    GO SENS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. gives them a veteran presence on the blue line

  6. it will help them in the long run

  7. it gives them hope that they can beat the Pens next year but it don't matter

  8. Strengthen in a few folds.

  9. i hate smith, he used to be on the flyers but now he's not so... i hate him

  10. Gives them grit, leadership and depth. All he does not do is score alot so the Sens will still need a puck moving defenseman.
