What does the kelp forest look like?

i need to know for a science projectt. its really g*y. someone help me. please.

oh yeah and what is light penitration??

Kelp can grow very long to reach the surface where there is more light.  You wouldn't want to go swimming in it since you might get wrapped around in it!
