Well this is a very controversial topic...the MK is supposed to stand for "Mark" as in the traditional Lincoln (Mark II, III, IV-VIII, ect.) The "S" in my opinion stands for "Sedan," but Lincoln has not confirmed this at all...so pure speculation.
