What does the phrase "Cut Me" mean in boxing?

Boxers say cut me when their eyes are so swelled up that they can't see because of it. So they ask the trainer to cut them open to let the liquids drain and helps the swelling go down so they can see again.

cut me phrase is non-existent in boxing. instead of saying box or hit me cut me is used for a ROBOT CHICKEN. chop into meal pieces!
