  2. It can mean the bodily functions as the first person answered or it can also mean emotions .. sometimes it is better to have a rant and a rave and a temper tantrum .. than bottling up frustrations.

    better to let it out ( be it gas or bad thoughts ) than to have them fester and cause upset within.

  3. burping or flatulating.

    It never refers to emotions.
