  1. it stands for oposite and is usually used in a 5-1 rotation but can be usued in a 6-2.

    it means that whatever position ur in, u always have an opposite. outsides opposite is the person in rightback, middle fronts OP is middle back and rightsides OP is left back. its used to help people stay in rotation : ]

  3. It stands for Opposite.  It is usually for a 5-1, but sometimes in a 6-2.

    It is the player that plays opposite the setter.  In a 5-1, they usually hit from the right side and set the ball when the setter is in the back row and has to play the first ball.  

    The opposite does the same in the 6-2 if the teams substitute out the setter when they get to the front row.
