What does the post office do with all the letters written to santa from little kids?

What do they do with them? I hope they recycle them because that is a giant waste of paper. The only good thing is that it costs a stamp to send the letter and that supports the post office (And the USPS is the only government organization that isn't funded through taxes)

  1. Santa makes origami toys out of them.

  2. The letters are recycled and are written back to by volunteers.

  3. They send them to Santa silly!!, and he always writes back to the kids that believe! i think he does have the same letter for everyone though, because, who has the time!!

  4. Slightly off the topic, but I feel it is important. I think that we should not lie to our children. The santa fairy tale does not exist and it is not a part of Christianity. The whole emphasis of Christianity has changed in some homes from Jesus Christ to santa. I think that we should rather talk about Jesus Christ on this day and make him the hero that he realy is instead of Santa Claus

  5. According to Postal low it will return to sender if there is no such address. If there is no return address and good TO address they will distroy the mail. But in the case of santa i dont think Post office gonna take a different approach bcoz that would be a violation of law.

Thanks for asking this question coz am gonna ask this question to my postmaster(boss).

  6. There are usually people who work for the post office volunteer to write back to them as 'santa', or anyone else who volunteers.

  7. What do you mean?

They mail them to Santa  of course .....he shreds them after

    Christmas.

Before shredders were around he just use to burn them.
