  1. Actually, there have been programs on PBS about what the food in the palace is like.  Quite luxurious, actually, and if she wants a scoop of ice cream, it's quite the production.  You should rent them or buy them at the public tv store.  They're pretty interesting.

    Interesting comment about her doctor's ordered diet, though.


  2. The Queen is 81-82 yrs old and is on a specific diet for her health (heard it mainly consists of whole grains, protein, veggies and fruit). It's also a low salt, low sugar, high calcium diet..... she has an entire kitchen staff at her disposal, so in her younger years she most likely got whatever she wanted
