Will that allow me to plug my computer into my TV by DVI to HDMI and plug audio into the "PROG OUT" input so I can have sound come through my tv?

  1. Nope, it's the other way around.  PROGram OUT is the audio of whatever the TV is tuned to.  Typically this would go to a home theater system and some really good speakers as opposed to the little ones hung on the side of the TV.  If there is an optical program out, that would be even better.
