What does the "expires in 4 hours" when you rent a movie on itunes?

I thought you had 30 days to rent the movie what does the expiration date for the rental mean. its the reminder that comes up every time you go into itunes. but does that mean that the movie expires in just one day or you have to wait one day before you can watch it?

When you rent a movie in iTunes you have 30 days to start watching that movie. After the movie has started you have 24 hours to finish watching it before it expires.
