  1. i have a v8 whcih mean 8 miles a gallon amn i gotta get outa tis 4runner

  2. the volume of the engine

  3. how much air the engine takes in when it goes through 2 complete rotations (it takes 2 rotations because it is a 4stroke cycle engine.and each stroke takes 180 degrees of crankshaft rotation.  If you were able to measure air volume very closely and you connected the carburetor/throttle body of a 350 cubic inch engine to this measuring device while you were cranking the engine room to complete rotations at wide-open throttle you would measure that the engine took in 350 cubic inches of air, it been compressed the air, and pushed 350 cubic inches of the air out the exhaust.

  4. The internal area of the engine's cylinder's in which the fuel mixing and detonation takes place. I.e, the circumference (bore) of the piston X the area of travel in a vertical motion (stroke) of the piston.

  5. that is a measure of displacement, or the volume of space covered by the movement of the pistons.
