ok i have to answer this question that asks if your favorite song portrays positive or negative values and i'm not really sure if this song is negative. i don't think it is but...

Negative?! It's the complete opposite!, is so positive, has such a relaxed rythm, reminds you of the beach and the fun that you have, also how love can make you feel strange and good.

This is definetly a positive song, a wonderful song.

so. here's my take...this guy, he loves this woman, who ever she is, and he just can't help it. he tried his best not to fall in love with her, but he feels that he didn't have a choice. he was meant to love her. so he's giving upeverybody else, and he's throwing himself out there, and is like, "hey, i'm here, and i'm yours if you'll have me." the girl is probably saying that she doesn't know if she loves him or whatever, and he's saying that there isn't any better time or place but now. he knows that she knows she loves him, and she might as well act on it now cause they both know it's true.

i'd say that's pretty positive!
