anyone have any opinions on the song "fix you" by coldplay and how it relates to parenting?

the rhythm, lyrics, tempo?... anything?..

  2. I doubt this will help, but here goes.

    When it comes to parenting, I think the song is about guiding you and helping you when things get bad. I get that impression from the lyrics. The tempo and rhythm is also quite calming and almost "inspirational" in a way...

    I love that song, along with coldplay. It was played at my uncle's funeral <3

  3. I wouldn't have thought to link the themes to parenting, but maybe that's because I'm not a parent? I find the combination of the lyrics and soaring music incredibly uplifting.

    I enjoy the opening, but once the instrumental section hits, every time I listen to it I can't help but pump up the volume. It feels like the musical equivalent of a hug - warmth and strength!
