  1. It sits on top of the engine between the cylinder heads where your carburetor and air cleaner sat on older cars. There a shaft extending out the front with a pulley and drive belt visible on the end


  2. The other answer got it pretty good. I was going to add they are not chrome or polished.

  3. Depends on what supercharger you use. If it's a roots blower, it sits on top of a special supercharger intake manifold, which goes on top of the engine block, connected to the cylinder heads. If it's a centrifugal supercharger, it connects to the manifold by a pipe or directly, and can sit just about anywhere in the engine bay.

  4. Its a roots style m112 supercharger.

    looks like the black unit ontop of this mustang 4.6L 3V engine but the one on a lighning is silver alumnimum

  5. it is the same exact supercharger that is on a 2003-2004 Cobra

    it is a Eaton M-112 Supercharger
