Question:

What does the term 'Fixed Price to Settle' actually mean?

I stuck a fiver each way on Spain at 11/2.

They've won and looking at my slip - its got the odds and Fixed Price to Settle.

And the returns at £32.50

Even tho a £5 each way win (1/2 the odds for a second place) comes out at £51.25

Any ideas?

  1. I could have sworn I answered this a couple hrs ago :)

    11/2 on a bet of 5 = 27.50 plus the 5 you bet = 32.50

Maybe you deleted it because you didn't like this answer and want the extra dough.. If so then get in touch with your book and see if they'll pony up :)
