    Ans. 1 ) The ecosystem in water ( either fresh or marine ) is called ' Aquatic Ecosystem .

    Q. 2  ) But what is an ecosystem ?

    Ans.2)The Harmonious relationship between LIVING( Biotic ) and NON-LIVING ( Abiotic ) factors in a given area is the ecosystem of that area .

    Examples = Aquarium is an excellent example of an ecosystem. Fortunately it is also an Aquatic Ecosystem .

    In the above aquarium =

    The living factors are = fish , plants and other minute but living organisms such as protozoa and algae and bacteria .

    The Non - Living Factors are = Water ( It makes it an aquatic ecosystem ) ;

    sand in which the plants are rooted ,

    temperature of water ,

    Light falling on all of them.

    The gases ( O2 and CO2 ) dissolved in water .

    The harmonious relationship between ALL  of them is the Ecosystem .
