  2. getting off on something means arousal from whatever something it is.  i had a professor that said he "really gets off on" history.  the class would snicker or be gross out. it's hard to tell cause it means different things in different places evidently, but based on my Pennsylvania upbringing, I would say it means getting or giving an o****m.  

  3. where i come from it either means snogging (sorry about the crude phrase but its the only universal word for it) or sleeping with them! that's just from where i come from though!

  7. UK term of 'getting off with someone' is making out with them :) or french kissing, however your used to saying it. That's the most common way it's used, mostly by people my age ( teenagers) ;D

    My and my mates have always used it synonymously with "to snog someone", i.e. to give them a good long french kiss.
