I am 23 male 5 7 160pounds is it normal for someone my age to have thinning hair?

  1. The thyroid is the same for males and females. Its a butterfly shaped organ thats located in your neck. You can read about the thyroid on the internet just type it into Google. There are a few disorders that are linked to the thyroid gland when it doesn't work properly. Thinning hair, I think is one, if you are concerned you should talk to a doctor. It could be other things though.
