What does the title "Private Practice" mean?

private practice means that the Dr's office us usually owned by the Drs  that run  it. its not owned by a corporation and  they can charge what they feel like charging and  usually have specialty  Drs instead of like a family practice...

It normally means private hospitals, they charge more then normal hospitals, tehy deliever babys, do surgerys etc.
