  1. i hope not i hate bad weather

  2. Hmmm, I read Alabama's National Weather Service's forecast discussion and checked their watches/warnings. It seems that your biggest threat today is heavy rain and moderately high winds (gusts of 30-35mph).

There is no tornado watch issued at this time.

There is always a possibility for tornadoes when dealing with tropical systems, although the threat is over the Florida panhandle right now (as of Saturday morning) because the strongest part of the system is still over that area. Please just keep an eye on your local weather this afternoon/evening. As that system continues to advect west, Alabama's weather will worsen somewhat later today. The worst weather always occurs on the eastern side of a tropical system (the side that continues to pull in tropical moisture), so when your prevailing winds become southeasterly/southerly/southwesterly, your threat increases. Just watch your weather closely this afternoon. I'd say that only the southern half of Alabama has any kind of threat.

This storm just doesn't want to go away, does it.
