  1. Pull US forces back to homeland defence.  It could be done in months.

Stop interfering in the affairs of other countries. It could be done in weeks, but would take longer to show results.

Abandon globalism and bring manufacturing and other jobs home.  This will involve bringing a lot of US investment home, possibly sequestrating some foreign assets and repudiating debts (tough, Beijing!) and writing off quite a lot of overseas debt, too.  And then abandon the discredited economics of Friedman and Hayek for those of Keynes, which actually worked.

Adopt a healthcare system on the British model - that actually works, too!

And above all, put Bush, Cheney and other guilty parties on trial for treason.

  2. Free America from being controlled by Israel, first it must be recognised by all Americans that Israel has massive and disproportionate control of the United States

  3. They need to bring back God! Removing Him was the biggest mistake.

  4. The most important thing is to reduce the importance of money in politics.  Money has become so important that our elections are not elections anymore, they're -auctions-.  Every politician, no matter how good his intentions, has to sell out to get into the game.  You have to have $20-30 million in the bank even to announce your candidacy for president, so by the time you even SEE a candidate, he or she has already sold out.

The next thing is corruption.  Corruption has been blossoming in the US because Americans have been convinced that it benefits them.  But corruption really hurts everyone.  It makes our government more fraudulent and wasteful so we don't get our money's worth for our tax dollars.  The Bush administration is the most corrupt perhaps in our entire history.  I'm not saying that only Republicans are corrupt, but they do seem to take more advantage.

Finally I would like to see a return of the fairness doctrine.  I'd like to see broadcast stations required to give all legitimate candidates some free time, equal time.  And some restrictions on negative advertising.  In fact I wouldn't mind if elections were publicly financed--each real candidate gets, say, $25 million, and that's all he can spend.  Conservatives scream in pain when anyone suggests things like this, but when they are in the minority you'll see them begin proposing campaign finance reform.  It's always the party out of power that wants campaign finance reform.

  5. They need to stop spending money they don't have, for programs for which there is no legal authority.

Obama will do plenty more of BOTH.

So, no change.  Unless it's change for the worse, of course.
