Question:

What does the warning "A Script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 9 to run slowly" mean?

That occurred when I was on a david cook/american idol website and it was loading the page. I wasn't watching any videos nor did I have any open at the time. I would call it a pretty "media heavy" website though, and it always takes a long time to load. What does that mean?

  1. I'm sure you have noticed a lot of sites now automatically play videos when you hit the site.  If some code executes for a too long time (10-15 seconds) the player assumes it's an infinite loop (it will continue forever) and pops up that message to avoid halting of the Flash Player. There most likely is a problem with Flash Player or part of it may be incompatible with the site. Anyway, clicking Yes will simply abort the scripts, probably rendering the player useless.

  2. It means that a function (like a button being pressed to go to a scene) it making to go slow, it could be the quality..
