I am going to a water park soon, and the predicted high air temp. is 66*F.

Does anyone have any idea what the water temp. will fell like (kind of like wind chill, only with water)?

  1. i would say 66

  2. Depends on what the water temperature is. Even if the water was 90F (not likely at all) if you aren't completely submerged you are going to get cold. Most likely is the water will be in the 60's or less and you will need your drivers license to figure out your gender.

  3. Depends on what the water temperature is.  Your body temperature is 98F.  If the water is 80F, then it will feel cold but bearable.  If the water is 40F its going to be very, very cold.

The air temperature will have more of a meaning when you leave the water.

  4. Too many variables to predict. If it is sunny and has been all day, the water might feel warm. If not, you might freeze your cohones off. What are you used to? On my honeymoon (March), my wife and I were the only ones in the pool at a New Orleans hotel. The locals looked at us as if we were crazy. Having swum in 55° water, I felt warm.
