  1. Usually they'll come with a Driver cover (1) and a 3-wood cover....the X is for whatever other club you may have, example a 5-wood or a 7-wood.

  2. Ohio is right you can also use it for a utility club

  3. Most wood covers have the number designate such as 1 for driver, 2 -Brassie; 3 Spoon or 3 wood; 4 for the cleek, etc. Now you add the 5 and 7 woods which are number designated and a utility which you can designate with the "x" cover. I have a 9 wood with its designated cover.
