In like company names and stuff? What does ™ mean?

  3. It stands for "Registered Trade Mark". It means that they have the exclusive rights to use that company/product name in certain territories. If someone else were to use the name they could take them to court on damages.

    For example if I made a new product and called it an iPod I would be sent a cease-and-desist order from Apple. If I failed to stop calling my product an iPod Apple could sue me for damages.
