  1. The first one means that it is a mistake to think that you will never make a mistake.

The second means that humans are the only creatures who have the capability to recognize they are bored...other creatures are too busy with food/mating/ect.

The third means humans are the only creatures with the ability for deep thinking, such as recognition that they are a being, that there is past and future, that someday they will die.

The fourth has to do with our interpretation of what is said.  Often times how we take something (that someone has said) has to do with our social background.  Also, if you think about it, words only have meaning because someone says they should.  If someone is speaking a language that is foreign to you, you won't understand what they are saying...the words have no meaning to you...

The fifth has to do with something that is a shocking thing to have witnessed.  Imagine if you saw a murder.  You would be so shocked by what you saw that it would be hard for you to speak, and yet later (such as at a trial), it would be impossible for you to be silent, because you would want the murderer to get due punishment.

The sixth is talking about precious quiet in life, rare opportunities when you can hear yourself think.

    Hope that helps a little.
