The other day someone said to me, " I noticed your hair (got it done) but it didn't look like you needed a compliment" What does this mean, and is it good or bad?

  1. Strange comment. I would take it to mean that they noticed your hair, thought it looked nice, but thought you looked self-confident and assured enough that you didn't need someone telling you that you looked good.I'd take it as well meant.

  2. it means that your hair cut is good because they said "it didn't look like you needed a compliment."  they thought you hair cut looked really good so a lot of people wouldve complimented it already.

  3. Well it looks like the person noticed your hair, but by saying you dont need another compliment means they think your already very beautiful and/or successful.

  4. it means that your hair looks so good that the other person knows that you probably think it looks really good too, and are very confident about it.

so, when they say a compliment was not needed, it means that OF COURSE your hair looks great - it's so obvious.

    they'd looks stupid complimenting it.

so it's a very very very nice compliment :]

  5. Sounds like the person's thinking is not clear. The thinking is reflected in how the "compliment" they gave to you was said. Do you like your hair. I bet it looks great.

  6. does it look good or bad?  you will have to figure that out.  at least someone noticed right!

  7. It meens that whoever left that comment doesnt know how to make a point - lol.  But I'm GUESSING its a good thing - you dont "need" a compliment because its pretty odvious that it looks good.  Thats what I'm guessing, anyway.

  8. Why are you trying to look deeply into this?  Just take it for what it is worth...a compliment.  Say thank you and walk away feeling fine.
