What does this dream mean?? Help me!?

Okay, I have dreamt that I've gone shopping with my mom a few times. My mom and dad divorced when I was like 9 years old, I'm almost 16 now.

This time, I went to the mall with her. And she disappeared and the mall was closing, and I still wanted to shop, and everytime I got to a store, they closed on me.

Then I had another dream the same night, that I was back at track, and I was running around the track with my friends. Then they stopped and I didn't want to stop? I kept running around, but going nowhere?

First of all you are worried about your mom being unavailable to you, which could be because you are thinking about what to do after high school, and what it will be like to be on your own and to be more independent.  Second you are worried about options foreclosing on you.  You have felt as though there are a lot of possibilities open for you, but now you feel that a lot of them are closing, just like all the stores were closing.  You are also worried about whether your friends are going to continue to support you.

in my opinion it sounds like your lonely and might possibly have left your friends for some reason in real life and maybe youve shut out your mom also in an attempt to hide some sort of "bad habbit"...  in you dream your running with your friends and your actually going somewhere, but when your alone you make no progress maybe you even regress. but hey im just a fellow teenager and ive been through alot... and i read some psychology books so if ive helped at all let me know ... but i might be totally off
