What does this dream mean? (War involved)?

I had this dream last night

I'm 100% certain it has to do with the girl i just broke up with but i don't know what it means

So some people with guns (some were my friends) and I were in this sort of barren canyon place when across a gorge some men pulled up to the edge in a jeep, got out and started firing.

There was a sea of bullets flying and we took cover behind a large boulder and returned fire. After we had won, one of the guys with us that i didn't know was shot and we left him (he was dead).

So we get to a hotel and check in. We start talking about what we want to go back to and i mention the girl that i was with (in my waking life even though she broke up with me a few days ago i was with her still in the dream). Later some men come to our hotel rooms saying they need to "have a word with us". We knew they came because they had to kill us. They come and a fist fight ensues (no weapons at all) and it ends after the last bad guy is knocked out.

I have no idea what meaning it has
