What does this dream mean/

well all i really remember was that the doctors found something wrong with my knee. i went into surgery and they placed a tube in my knee and then somethingin my ankle. the strange thing was the whole time i was in this process i was happy. never sad.

Your dream suggests symathetic feelings for another or a tolerance of something that hinders you emotionally in your personal life.

By the intervention of the doctors the thing that is at the center of this dream assumes some formality.  Is there a relationship or some social circumstance where something not wanted is imposed on you?  Perhaps it is tolerable - and you may even find that tolerance on your part to be a noble thing, you bear it well.

Whatever it is however it threatens your usual gait of progress - while pain may be absent and a cheerful disposition is maintained, you none-the-less have this imposing proceedure pressed onto one of your vital limbs.  Note that it is in not only one joint but two - whatever the matter is there is little doubt that it is well entrenched and not easily put aside.

But, there must be some reward in tolerating this whole thing - you find yourself happy to accept the procedure.  Look at the things going on in your life - new relationships, career, education - it could be any number of things such as these that carries some attached burden that now manifests as a dream as the mind vents the burden.
