yo dummy it means it makes glares stars lik on yo smile u can hav a twinkle lol jkjk but yea i didnt kno that either til i read the other answers lol

when a cross filter is used, it makes bright objects (eg. lights, stars, some reflections) appear as if they are small crosses of light. one example is that when pictures show someone smiling & they can show a star glistening off of one of their teeth. that sort of effect, hope that helps.
