What does this guy want?

okay so he has been in my class in middle school twice.

he always used to make fun of me, call me fat when i'm not even fat.

and when he wasnt infront of his friends, we would talk about sports, just have a nice conversation.

but he is different sometimes.

is it because all his friends say we make a good couple?

my friends do too, but it's so weird because he hates me and i can't stand him.

today was our high school registration, and he kept seeing me in the hallways, and kept smiling and laughing at me.

he would call me a loner etc etc. but on msn we would talk about sports, how much we hate our siblings and we'd get along nicely.

why does he do this?

Sounds like this guy likes teasing you :P (In a good way) Kinda like flirting, i bet he likes you though.

Sounds like he is trying to show off in front of his friends acting that way. And not telling the truth that you guys actually get along. He is probably worried that his friends will make fun of him if they knew you guys are actually friends.
